"Audion Industries" (audion.bsp) is my very first map for Half-Life. It
is a classic deatchmatch level with a relationsship to "Gasworks" (my all time
favourite), but with a lower player load. Check the readme for more information and head
over to the screenshots section to see what you can expect.

"Reactor Complex" is my very
first attempt at map making (see the screenshots here). The map
is 90% finished but I decided to stop working on it when I ran into several problems.
Here's a quick overview of the Pro's and Con's:
Con's:
- Since I was very new to mapping, I had a
hard time to keep control over the r_speeds and they jump above 800, even 900 in various
places
- It doesn't fit the company idea I have and
thus has no custom textures which should be a basic feature in all of my maps
- Due to the size of the map (4-12 players)
and the shrinking Half-Life community around me (most buddies play other games now) it's
hard to get together a serious playtest crew for the map
Pro's:
- IMHO the map KICKS ASS! It has everything a good map should have: lots of
vertical action, sniping possibilities, large outdoor areas, tight hallways, teleporters
and so on...
- A lot of work (about 3 weeks) already went
into this map so it would be a shame to let it go down the drain
- The first playtests (with only 3 people)
showed that the map definetely has a lot of potential. We played it for some hours by now
and couldn't find much to complain about
So you see that it is a hard decision for
me to either finetune and complete this map or follow the company idea and begin to work
on another "Audion Industries" title. But you can help me! Take a look at the screenshots of the map and decide whether you want to see it hit
the day or not. Mail me your suggestions, support
or criticism.
